Industrial Safety

The policy in the area of occupational health, safety and social responsibility is the basis for strategic planning and management of the company’s activities, setting and achieving goals.

Industrial Safety

The state of safeguarding the environment, as well as people and property, against the adverse consequences of potentially hazardous production elements is known as industrial safety. The name of this hazardous producing site is LLP Saryarka-Energy. One method to guarantee industrial safety is through the declaration of hazardous production facility safety and the evaluation of industrial safety experts. The object is examined by an industrial safety specialist to make sure it meets all relevant standards and requirements.

It is required to declare facilities that are utilized for hazardous manufacturing and whose operations potentially have a negative impact on the general public or the environment. Specialists from the company drafted the Refinery Safety Declaration in this regard, and they carefully examined it before registering it with the relevant organization. Preventing accidents and lessening their impact on hazardous manufacturing sites is the main objective of industrial safety. The attainment of this goal is also aided by the availability of trained specialists who fulfill the necessary qualifications. Industrial safety training and refresher courses are provided to LLP Saryarka-Energy employees.

An organized set of managerial rules, regulations, and procedures used to implement and advance risk-reduction and safety-related development initiatives is known as an industrial safety management system. The industrial safety management system includes both organizational and technical safeguards, and it arranges equipment safety operation in accordance with adherence to functional level standards for safe operation.

Implementing a permanent production control over compliance with industrial safety requirements is the primary goal of LLP Saryarka-Energy’s system of industrial safety management. For this reason, the refinery developed production control regulations in line with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Civil Protection.” Production control is responsible for the following tasks in the field of industrial safety: making sure that hazardous production sites adhere to industrial safety regulations and identifying the conditions and underlying causes of disruptions that compromise the security status of work performance. An annual contract for the insurance of civil liability of owners of hazardous production facilities, whose operations are linked to risk of environmental harm, is completed by LLP Saryarka-Energy.

The corporation effectively runs the School of Safety Culture, where employees receive industrial safety training from internal trainers in compliance with the corporate training program matrix. This fosters a culture of safe production. The organization has been putting the global Vision Zero concept—which integrates the ideas of establishing safe and healthy working environments—into practice since 2018. The program’s goal is to attain a zero injury rate. LLP Saryarka-Energy exhibits transparency in the area of industrial safety by joining Vision Zero. Being an official member of the Vision Zero International Council gives the company access to best practices from around the globe for putting the idea into effect.
