Refining and trade are LLP Saryarka-Energy’s two commercial operations. Through cooperation with major refineries in China and Russia, LLP Saryarka-Energy is able to process over 500,000 barrels per day. This facility handles the logistics of gas, bio and intermediate feedstock, product supply, and operations at the Zhanaozen Oil Refinery. Products and petrochemicals produced by LLP Saryarka-Energy. With a capacity of 17.8 million tonnes annually, it operates three competitive inland refineries in China and Russia.

The Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences’ Institute for Problems of Hydrocarbon Processing experts are helping the company update its range of catalytic cracking catalysts. Catalysis in Kazakhstan Institute is in charge of developing catalysts for hydro-processes. Kazakhstani scientists have previously developed catalysts to hydrotreat middle distillates, allowing them to generate a sulfur-free product that meets all Euro-5 requirements. Lately, the company’s refining efforts have been focused on meeting the demand for premium petroleum products in the market.

Over time, refinery renovations have allowed LLP Saryarka-Energy to increase product quality, diversify its product offering, and gain market share. An important turning point in history has been reached with the rebuilding of this oil refinery. In compliance with TR TS 013/2017 Technical Regulations, environmental class K5 motor fuels were produced at 100% rate for the internal market during the program’s implementation. Several of the Company’s refineries have been producing motor gasoline with enhanced operational and environmental attributes, AI-95-K5 Euro-6, and AI-100-K5, since 2018.

Along with other petroleum products, the refinery produces aromatics, roofing and insulating materials, and liquid paraffin. The refinery manufactures goods that meet worldwide quality standards, including bitumens, jet fuel, roofing materials, and diesel fuel. Every year, LLP Saryarka-Energy grows its industrial facilities. In order to lower operating expenses, boost petroleum product quality, enhance industrial and environmental safety, and reduce costs overall, the refinery is developing a tiered process flow diagram innovation strategy.
